Joey is jazzy! That may sound silly but this seven year old pup is full of pep, especially for a pup who doesn't have much use of one of his back legs. 

Joey came to us as an owner surrender. His owner found herself in a medical situation in which she had to rehome all of her animals. She let us know that Joey had a limp from an injury he sustained before she got him. Well, it turned out Joey didn't have much use of one of his back legs at all! Now before you feel sorry for this fella, let me tell you, this injury doesn't cause him any pain (we had it checked by a veterinarian) AND it doesn't slow this guy down. He likely isn't the best walking partner but I'll tell you what, this guy loves to play ball. Check out the video of him having the best time ever!

Joey does well with other pups, for the most part, but can get a little testy. Because of this, he would do better as an only dog and does just fine keeping himself fairly entertained. His previous owner had several cats so he does well with them as far as we know.

This spunky little (27ish pounds) guy would make an excellent companion. He has a delightful disposition and is quite a character. If you are interested in adopting Joey, please apply here.
