The beautiful Zoey is a bit shy at first, and she looks at you as if she wants to believe all humans are kind. She is easily convinced with a bit of patience and encouragement. She was surrendered to an emergency hospital with her eye literally hanging out of it's socket. The story behind it was a bit fuzzy and her owners didn't care to pay for any repair/comfort to this amazing girl.

We don't understand how anyone could turn their back on her but that isn't important now...Zoey is only looking forward and we know her future is bright! 

Zoey would be just fine as an only dog to a human or humans who are home much of the time. If there is another dog in the household, that pup needs to be respectful of Miss Zoey as she continues to navigate this new world where she has only one eye and there are so many changes.
