In our experience it seems like the chocolate and tan chihuahuas are a special breed of their own. Sweet, unassuming, they kind of stand back and wait for you to notice them and once you lock eyes...that's it. You are theirs and they are yours. Vito is no exception. He doesn't demand your attention when you are in the area but if you do happen to walk towards him, he very pleasantly will make you feel like you are just who he was expecting. And that his entire day has been made by your arrival. 

Vito came to us chipped but sadly it had not been registered and all efforts to track potential owners down, were not fruitful. So Vita became an OURS kid and boy are we glad that he did!
