Adele was rescued from a ranch environment where she was kicked by a horse and the injury was never treated. Due to being untreated her bone healed incorrectly and there is no way to fix it at such a late date. It does not seem to cause her pain and she does put pressure on that leg to walk occasionally and will use it to scratch an itch.

Despite not having a great first year of life, Adele is the most amazing soul. She will place her chin into your hand and just leave it there. She loves attention but is not pushy about it. Her demeanor is soft and peaceful but don't think her injury keeps her down!

This girl can jump when she wants to get somewhere. We don't think she is the pup you'd want if you walk miles a day but she can get around, no problem. She isn't your typical doberman either. She has a tail and floppy ears and WE LOVE THEM. You will, too!

Adele is just over a year old and weighs just under 50 pounds.
