Don't let the grumpy pictures fool ya! Scarlett is a joy to be around. She comes sauntering up with her tail wagging hoping you're looking for her. She will accept your love and then settle into your lap or near you to just enjoy the day. She is energetic and doesn't act like a senior but her mouth told us she is not a youngster. It also told us that she wasn't likely treated well before she was found as a stray. We are told she likely was kept in a crate for much of the time and she likely grew bored and chewed on the crate itself. That did some damage to her teeth and I'm sure her heart....BUT this girl looks forward, not backward and she is looking to connect with someone. She had a dental and they removed several teeth but her teeth will need to be looked at from time to time (as with most pups).
